Ganador de la Liga Mexicana en 4 ocasiones, la Copa de Campeones Concacaf en 3 ocasiones, la copa sudamericana, la superliga, y la Copa America jugando como arquero de Ecaudor. En el Bicentenario llevo al Pachuca a cuartos de final antes de que se lesionara y quedara fuera por el resto del torneo….

Dino Zoff is one of the greatest goalkeepers football has ever known. A true Legend. He participated in 4 World Cups. In 1970, he stayed on the bench as Albertosi was Italy’s first choice. In 1974 his name was linked to a Haitian goal scored against him that stopped his incredible record of staying 1142 minutes with the national team without conceeding a goal! In 1978 he captained the Azzurri and was sadly remembered by the stunning goals he conceeded from outside of the box to Arie Haan and Nelinho. At 36 years old this could have been a sad ending for his World Cup adventures, but the legendary calm man was again defending Italy’s woodwork in 1982 when he gloriously lifted the Golden prize for the Azzurri….

On May 16 2010, Barcelona were declared champions of La Liga BBVA 2009-2010 at Camp Nou after their 4-0 victory over Valladolid, their 20th La Liga title. During the party, held directly after the winning match, there where speeches of the whole team: ie head coach Josep PepGuardiola, central midfielder Xavier & goal keeper Valdés. FCB also won on 16th May 2010 the Pichichi Trophy 2009-2010 (awarded to the player who scores the most goals in a season) with Lionel Andrés Messi (34 goals); the Zamora Trophy 2009-2010 (awarded to the goalkeeper with least goals to games ratio) with goalkeeper Víctor Valdés i Arriba (Avarage 0,63) and ranking number 1-3 in assists 2009-10 with Xavier Hernández i Creus (assists 14) Daniel Alves da Silva & Lionel Andrés Messi (both 10 assists) UNIQUE SPONSORSHIP IN THE WORLD: Since its founding, Barcelona has never worn corporate advertisements on their shirt. On 14 July 2006, the club announced a five year agreement with UNICEF, which includes having the UNICEF logo on their shirts. The agreement has the club donate €1.5 million per year to UNICEF (0.7 percent of its ordinary income, equal to the UN International Aid Target via the FC Barcelona Foundation. Unlike many other football clubs, the fans of FC Barcelona own and operate the club.
