Wolfsburg coach Steve McClaren was bitter following his team’s 2-2 draw with Schalke. In particular, the Englishman cited a missed handball that allowed Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to score a late equaliser. “Unbelievable, it was a hand ball from Huntelaar,” he told reporters after the match. “All the players and 30000 spectators in the stadium saw this; only the referee and his assistants did not. This is a bitter pill to swallow.” On the other hand, McClaren was full of praise for his side. “I do have to compliment my team. Today, we had a good performance.” Wolfsburg were 2-0 ahead early, but for the third time this year, failed to hold on to the three points. After goals from Grafite and Edin Dzeko, Schalke pulled a goal back through Edu before Huntelaar’s controversial equaliser. Schalke’s scorer Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, left, celebrates his sides second goal during a German first division Bundesliga soccer match between VfL Wolfsburg and FC Schalke 04 in Wolfsburg, Germany, Saturday , Nov. 13, 2010.
